Andersen Corporation Names Director of Supply Chain Architecture

BAYPORT, Minn. - Andersen Corporation recently promoted Ben Adamson to the newly created role of director of Supply Chain Architecture. Adamson will be responsible for leading the analysis, development and improvement of enterprise supply chain capabilities. His team will examine both internal and external enterprise supply chain capabilities across divisions and functions to identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive value to our customers.

“Ben is a strong operations leader, who understands the need to develop and integrate supply chain solutions that optimize the customer experience,” said Vice President of Supply Chain Services Steve Kirby. “He is an inspiring leader with great energy. Ben is especially adept at using his product and process knowledge to effectively communicate strategies in a clear and compelling way and aligning resources to implement solutions.”

Adamson joined Andersen in 2000 after joining the company from Cargill Corporation. During his 12-year career with Andersen Corporation, he has served in many leadership roles across the engineering and operations organizations. Most recently, Adamson was the Advanced Manufacturing Systems Manager and his team was responsible for the commercialization of new products and developing supply chain business processes.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at University of North Dakota and his MBA at the University of St. Thomas.
