American Craft Council Show Returns to Baltimore

Minneapolis, MN – The American Craft Council Show is returning to the Baltimore Convention Center, February 22-24, 2013, and will feature more than 650 of the country’s top contemporary craft artists presenting their latest handmade creations in jewelry, clothing, furniture and home décor. The Retail Show runs for three days with a special $5.00 ticket price Friday evening after 5 p.m.

New this year, the American Craft Council is collaborating with 10 esteemed interior designers in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. metro area who are creating room settings inspired by a piece of fine craft. Themed “Make Room: Modern Design meets Craft,” the designers will transform the show floor into a show-stopping setting of room designs that reflect the character of each piece. This new addition will generate ideas for visitors on how to integrate a treasured object into a home design.

The American Craft Council Show provides shoppers with a unique opportunity to experience the work of hundreds of the country’s most talented craft makers under one roof, explore the process each artist uses to create their work and learn what inspires them.
