MARION, IN - Advanced Cabinet Systems (ACS) has promoted Carla Shelton as the new Estimating Team Leader as of May 15, 2014. Her new primary responsibilities are to improve the quality, number of estimates, and project hit rate.
Mrs. Shelton will also directly manage the Estimating department, including Neil Rankin. Her goal is to train and coach the department on how to create accurate bids to benefit ACS clients.
Carla started on the production floor in 2004 and was promoted to Estimating in 2007. She has ran several of the machines, including the edge-bander, table saw, and Weeke (CNC machine). Her knowledge of the manufacturing process enables her to more accurately determine labor costs.
“Carla has always over-performed expectations. Her ability to quickly and accurately produce casework bids made her the natural fit to lead the department and take it to the next level,” says Phil Bowers, ACS President.
During her almost 10 year tenure at ACS, she has proven herself as a dedicated employee with the company’s goals in mind.
