AWI Design Solutions Magazine Released

Potomac Falls, VA – The Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) has released the spring 2014 edition of their official journal, Design Solutions Magazine. The publication offers in depth features and resources including a technical article and a Product Showcase.

A cornerstone article and technical article are published in each new issue of Design Solutions Magazine. This quarter’s cornerstone article is called “I’ve Got a Problem With the Woodwork on my Project” and discusses how the AWI Quality Certification Program provides a value to the end user of architectural woodwork and to the construction team. This issue’s technical article is called “Wood Finishing Fundamentals” and discusses why we finish, what to choose and how it performs.

As always, you can still count on seeing the same beautiful examples of fine architectural woodwork manufactured by AWI Member Companies.

The spring 2014 issue features AWI member companies:

• Chamberlain Companies, Inc., of Salem, NH and their work on South Shore Medical Center, in Norwell, MA.

• Lange Bros. Woodwork Co., Inc., of Milwaukee, WI and their work on Feynman Center, in Fitchburg, WI.
