Anaheim, CA - Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers® announced the passing of Bruce Valentine, who died peacefully in his home, on December 3rd, at the age of 64.

AWFS Mourns the Passing of Bruce ValentineBorn in Boston, Bruce moved to California with his family at an early age. He received a degree in Business Administration from California State University and starting in 1977, served as the Fiscal Administrative Officer for the non-profit, Jewish Big Brothers Association, for nearly 18 years. Bruce joined AWFS in 1996, as Marketing Manager and eventually moved into his latest role as AWFS Communications Director.

"The staff and board are all deeply saddened by Bruce's sudden passing," said Angelo Gangone, Executive Vice President, AWFS. "We will always remember him for his kindness and his soft-spoken demeanor. Although he battled many health issues, including kidney disease for nearly a decade, Bruce would show up to work every single day and never, ever complained. In fact, most people had no idea of the daily challenges he faced. He was an inspiration to all of us, a beloved member of our family, and will be missed very, very much."
