AMT and Deutsche Messe Renew Successful Strategic Partnership

Chicago - AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology announced the extension of a strategic partnership with Deutsche Messe AG, which successfully delivered the first Industrial Automation North America event debuting at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2012 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Industrial Automation North America is Deutsche Messe’s first manufacturing event in the North American market and stems from a strategic alliance with AMT, the organizer of IMTS.

The partnership that brought Industrial Automation North America 2012, Deutsche Messe’s first industrial automation event in the North American market was announced at IMTS 2010.

“Deutsche Messe as the organizer of HANNOVER MESSE and AMT as the owner of IMTS combined have become a powerhouse in showcasing products and solutions for production automation in the manufacturing technology industry,” said IMTS Vice President – Exhibitions and Communications Peter Eelman. “The Industrial Automation North America component of IMTS has been fully embraced by the North American manufacturing community and we are pleased to move forward as partners.”

Larry Turner, Hannover Fairs USA CEO, said, “We are very pleased to continue this successful partnership with AMT and IMTS. Our inaugural event this year sold out of exhibitor space. In fact, we added 30% more exhibition area because of the strong demand in North America for a comprehensive industrial automation event.
