WMMA Elects 2015-16 Board of Directors

FOREST HILL, MD – The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA) elected its officers and directors during the Wood Industry Conference (WIC), held April 20-25 in San Antonio, TX.

Newly elected officers of the national trade association for businesses making machinery, cutting tools and supplies for the woodworking industry are:

Chris Hacker, Vice President (James L. Taylor Manufacturing, Poughkeepsie, NY)

Stephen Carter, Treasurer (William & Hussey Machine Co., Inc., Milford, NH)

Allen Eden, Board Member (The Original Saw Company, Britt, IA)

James E. Laster, Board Member (Newman Machine Company, Inc., Greensboro, NC)

Paul Wilmes, Board member (Mereen-Johnson, LLC, Minneapolis, MN)

Continuing in their terms on the board of directors are the following: Jamison Scott, as President (Air Handling Systems, Woodbridge, CT), T.R. Herzog (Accu-Router, Inc., Morrison, TN), Shawn Larkin (Safety Speed Manufacturing Company, Inc., Ham Lake, MN, and Whitney Wiggin (Hendrick Manufacturing Corporation, Salem, MA).

John Schultz (Super Thin Saws, Inc., Waterbury, VT) remains on the board in the office of Immediate Past President. Other past presidents remaining on the WMMA board are Mark Chappell (Alexander Dodds Company, Grand Rapids, MI) and Tom Onsrud (C.R. Onsrud, Inc., Troutman, NC).
