Union Tools Corporation's 70 Years Have Seen 4 Generations of Leaders

The Union Tool Corporation, started by Karl J. Heinzelman, had its 70th birthday in 2014. The family-owned business is managed by Co-presidents Mike Simpson and Chuck Simpson, representing the third generation, while Chas Simpson's return to the company after several years working in the Indianapolis area represents the fourth.

“Not many family businesses make it three generations and we’re proud we did,” said Chuck Simpson.  “And now that we are bringing in a fourth generation?  That’s pretty rare.  We’re looking forward to keeping their tradition alive long into the future.”

Union Tool Corporation manufactures automated machines and equipment for the handling and processing of flat sheets, boards and panels made of wood, glass, metal, plastic, fiber, foam and other materials. Union Tool Corporation also make custom manufactured equipment for several other industries.
