CAMBRIDGE, ON - Royce//Ayr, a manufacturer of cutting tools for woodworking, metal working and other industries, plans to build a 20,000-square-foot addition to its manufacturing facility in Cambridge.
Plans also call for adding new cutting tool production machinery that will help the company expand production capacity and expand into new markets. Royce//Ayr's addition will house:
• New Walter CNC grinding equipment for solid carbide spiral production;
• Further expansion of PCD manufacturing machinery for composite tooling market;
• Advanced plant layout including a unique work cell concept to improve production efficiencies; and
• R&D facility for advanced material testing
Royce//Ayr's extensive cutting tool line for woodworking, includes carbide-tipped and PCD saw blades and cutterheads; standard and custom solid carbide inserts; solid carbide, high-speed steel, carbide-tipped and PCD router and drill bits; tool holders, hydro sleeves and accessories.
