TOCCOA, GA – Osborne Wood Products is moving into the future with a strong vision in mind. Osborne’s Christian Smedberg, previously Director of Marketing, is stepping into a new role within the growing company. Smedberg has been promoted to Associate Vice President of Osborne Wood Products, and is enthusiastically looking forward to the unique opportunities within this new role.

As Associate Vice President, Smedberg will be taking on a larger role in operations at Osborne Wood Products. His primary responsibilities and areas of development will include the warehouse and shipping department. Smedberg states that some of the greatest anticipated challenges in this new role are, “gaining an understanding for and working to optimize the workflow of this key department.”

As Smedberg steps forward as Associate Vice President he is most excited about working within new departments and conquering new challenges. Looking to his past experience, Smedberg says, “Experience with the company and its processes have played a large role in preparation for this step. Also, being in a management position for 3 years has helped tremendously.”

Osborne Wood Products CEO, Leon Osborne, expressed his excitement for the advancement of Smedberg.
