FREDERICKSBURG, VA - The international headquarters of Kaeser Compressors Inc., Kaeser Kompressoren SE, has broken ground on an expansion at its main location in Coburg, Germany.
The new facilities mainly will serve to produce the company's rotary screw compressors. The buildings will feature the latest in energy saving and sustainable design practices, Kaeser says. Construction is scheduled to be completed in June 2016. When complete, the facilities will add more than 200,000 square feet of production space.
"With this expansion, our goal is to continue to build superior quality products that represent the best in engineering and innovation," said Thomas Kaeser, the company’s chief executive officer.
Kaeser Compressors also recently announced a 50,000-square-feet addition to its Fredericksburg, VA-facility.
