MOORSEVILLE, NC - Holz-Her U.S. has named Carlos Castillo as its new executive sales manager. The panel processing equipment maker says Castillo will direct the company's sales activities in the West Coast region.

Castillo has more than 30 years in the industry, including 15-plus years of plant operations experience with Douglas Furniture and almost 20 years of panel processing equipment sales. Most recently he was a sales manager at Jowat Adhesives.

“We feel strongly the time is right to expand our team and we are excited to have Carlos in this important role,” said Dan Murphy, vice president of Weinig USA and Holz-Her U.S. Inc.

Holz-Her is part of the Weinig Group. Weinig provides a variety of wood processing machinery including moulders, ripsaws, optimizing crosscut saws, fingerjointing machines and software, marketed under the Weinig, Raimann, Dimter, Grecon, Waco and MillVision brands. Holz-Her provides panel processing equipment including edgebanders, panel saws, CNC routers and machining centers, sanders and computerized inventory systems.
