Five U.S. Woodworking Machinery Makers Train Dealers

HAM LAKE, MN – Safety Speed Manufacturing and SuperMax Tools recently hosted a dealer training event that also involved three other U.S. woodworking machinery manufacturers.

Five U.S. Woodworking Machinery Makers Train DealersIn addition to Safety Speed and SuperMax Tools, the three-day event was sponsored by Original Saw, JLT Clamps and Williams & Hussey. All five companies are members of the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA).

Multiple representatives of eight machinery distributorships from across North America participated in the hands-on training sessions of sponsors' equipment set up at Safety Speed and nearby SuperMax Tools.

Brian Donohue, president of Safety Speed, said plans are in the works to make this an annual event.

Safety Speed Manufacturing, Ham Lake, MN
Safety Speed has been manufacturing panel processing machinery for more than 55 years. The company builds vertical panel saws, panel routers, widebelt sanders, edgebanders and most recently screw pocket machines.

SuperMax Tools, St. Paul, MN
SuperMax has been making drum, brush and widebelt sanders for every size shop for more than 20 years.

The Original Saw Company, Britt, IA
The Original Saw Company has manufactured radial arm saws and horizontal panel saws since 1990.

JLT Clamps, Poughkeepsie, NY
JLT Clamps, a division of James L. Taylor Manufacturing, has been producing door clamping systems since 1911.

Williams & Hussey, Milford, NH
Williams & Hussey is celebrating 60 years of producing versatile straight, curved and elliptical moulders for the woodworking industry.
