BOISE, ID – Tom Corrick will become the new CEO of Boise Cascade Co. effective March 6. Corrick  succeeds Tom Carlile, who is retiring after 42 years at the composite panel firm and its predecessor companies.

Corrick currently serves as COO at Boise (NYSE: BCC). Previous positions held during his 31-year tenure at the company include: senior vice president of Wood Products Manufacturing, senior vice president of Engineered Wood Products and various management and financial positions. “I am excited to have the opportunity to guide Boise Cascade. We have great people and leading positions in each of our key businesses, and we are very well positioned to take advantage of the recovering housing market,” Corrick said.

He takes over from Carlile, who served as CEO of Boise Cascade Holdings LLC in 2009, and CEO of Boise Cascade Co. since February 2013.
