U-C Coatings Prevent Glue Buildup on Woodworking Clamps BUFFALO, NY - U-C Coatings aims to prevent glue buildup and paint overspray on clamps and spray equipment with its new line of preventative coatings.

The Bates coatings act as a barrier between clean equipment and glue buildup. When applied to clean machinery, they create a transparent film which keeps glue, wood resin and paint from bonding with metal surfaces.

The company says the Bates BC, Bates HTR-1 and Bates HTR-4 coatings allow both cold- and high-temperature glues to be removed with a paint scraper, eliminating the need for hazardous cleaning chemicals. U-C Coatings adds that its silicone-free wax and oil emulsions are also environmentally friendly.

U-C Coatings also produces Anchorseal end-coatings for logs and lumber. The company will demonstrate the new Bates glue release coatings in booth #2075 at IWF 2014, August 20-23, alongside more than 850 exhibitors showcasing new woodworking tools, machinery, software and equipment.
