JASPER, IN — Techniks Industries now will act as the parent company of Techniks, NAP GLADU and BC Saw (now a part of NAP GLADU). Techniks and NAP GLADU will still continue to do business under their current brand names.
The branding journing has been complicated. In January 2013, Techniks was acquired by Tenex Capital Management and merged into another of its holdings, NAP Gladu, under Quintec, a newly formed industrial tooling company. In June 2013, NAP Gladu acquired BC Saw, a seller and service provider of industrial tooling based in Toronto, ON. “The newly formed corporate identity unifies our customer focused organizations,” said Greg Webb, CEO of Techniks Industries.
All the companies have adopted new logos, visual identities and websites that can be found for Techniks Industries at www.techniksindustries.com, Techniks at www.techniksusa.com and NAP GLADU at www.napgladu.com.
NAP Gladu will be displaying many new products at the IWF 2014 in Booth 5113 and at IMTS in Booth W-1075. In June, NAP Gladu introduced the AirPRO dust evacuating collet nut for standard tool holders. It also introduced the SuperSilent diamond-tooth saw blades which reduces noise levels by 20 decibels - a 75% reduction.
