The VOLLMER QXD250 is an Erosion & Grinding machine for processing PolyCrystalline Diamond (PCD) tipped tooling. The QXD250 offers 6 simultaneously controlled CNC-controlled axes with a new A-axis addition which enables complete machining in a single set-up. Travel and swivel ranges have been increased for larger tool diameters and lengths. A re-engineered spindle design allows more efficient grinding processes with increased flexibility for the processing of cutting tools for the wood or metal cutting industries.
