LAS VEGAS – More than 300 international wood products importers, manufacturers, exporters and suppliers are set to showcase new trends, products and business methods at the 2015 World of Wood Convention on March 18-20 at the luxury resort, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Hosted by the International Wood Products Assocition (IWPA), the convention will feature companies will travel from more than 30 countries while providing networking opportunities for show attendees.

Presentations at the convention will also feature wood products industry experts as they adress topics such as economics, distribution trends, supply and market projections.


John Min PhD, chief economist at World First Foreign Exchange, will present “Global Currency Trends and Forecasts," and Scott Clemons, chief investment strategist at Brown Brothers Harriman, will present “Economic, Financial and Wood Markets Outlook.”

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features a 100,000-square-foot casino on the Las Vegas Strip and is locatd approximately 3 miles away from McCarran International Airport.

The 2015 World Of Wood Convention is offering an early registration discount through December 31. Hotel accommodationswill be available until February 13, 2015. Activities and networking opportunities organized by the IWPA include the IWPA Annual Golf Classic, a Whiskey Flight Tasting reception, a Hoover Dam Discovery Tour and a performance of the Broadway musical, Jersey Boys.
