Xylexpo to certify show stats
MILAN -- Xylexpo, a biennial woodworking machinery exposition, announced its 2010 registration numbers and other show statistics will be certified by the Italian institute for the certification of exhibition statistics.

According to Xylexpo's website, the show held May 4-8 at the Fierra Milano in Rho, attracted 51,480 visitors, including 48% from outside of Italy. The show had 652 exhibitors, including 230 foreign companies, occupying 42,500 net square meters.

“This is another step towards the level of clarity and transparency that exhibitions must guarantee ," said Ambrogio Delachi, president of Acimall, the Italian woodworking machinery association that organizes Xylexpo. "Today more than ever, we have to ensure our customers, both exhibitors and visitors, that they are attending an efficient and effective show, that they are investing on measurable events, that they can know all details about an exhibition.”

Xylexpo will return May 8-12, 2012.
