BREA, CA — The Würth Group, along with its creative team at DeFord Designs, received the Silver Davey Award at the 2007 Davey Awards, announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts on Nov. 7.

“It is an honor to receive not one, but two awards for the work we’ve done to create awareness for the Würth brand,” said Greg Rewers, vice president of marketing, Louis and Co., a member of the Würth Group. “I am proud to be part of a winning team that can promote such highly innovative woodworking products from Würth. As a result of the branding efforts over the past 18 months, awareness of this product line has increased substantially within the audience of North American professional woodworkers and cabinetmakers.”

With over 4,000 entries from across the United States and around the world, the Davey Awards honors the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide. DeFord Designs earned the Silver Davey Award for the Würth ASSY Fastener ad titled, “Bullseye!” as well as the Würth U.S. Branding Awareness Campaign.
