MISSISSAUGA, ON – “Leveraging the Digital World to Grow Your Business – Strategies and Tactics,” is the title of a special free seminar scheduled for the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo, Sept. 24-26, at the International Centre.

Tom Denison, vice president of Vance Marketing Solutions, will present this informative and energizing program four times during the three-day event at the new Idea & Innovation Center located in the machinery hall. The center is sponsored by the Canadian Woodworking Machinery & Distributors Assn.

The session will address how to maximize a Web site’s lead generation potential by matching marketplace, digital and communications expertise with a proven development process. Denison will explain how to increase Web traffic through e-mail, social media networks, search engine optimization, pay per click and more.

The seminar will be open to all WMS participants at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 1:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26. Exhibitors are invited to attend a pre-show presentation at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25.

In addition to Denison’s Web presentations, the Idea & Innovation Center will feature continuous how-to lectures and demonstrations on a wide variety of topics. The complete schedule will be available on the WMS Web site in late August. The center will also include a Materials Showcase where attendees will be able to see and feel dozens of cutting-edge materials including: glass, metals, natural fibers, ceramic, coatings, textiles and polymers.
