PHILADELPHIA, PA - Mark Chappell, vice president of Alexander Dodds Co. in Grand Rapids, was elected 2010-11 president of the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America.
WMMA members also elected John Schultz, president of Super Thin Saws, in Waterbury, VT, as vice president; and Jamison Scott, corporate officer of Air Handling Systems in Woodbridge, CT, as treasurer.
The following members were each elected to serve three-year terms on the board of directors:

- Richard Cowan, president of Rees-Memphis of Memphis, TN;
- Allen Turk, chairman and CEO of Precision Drive Systems of Bessemer City, NC; and
- Linda Wyant, vice president of Safranek Enterprises Inc., Her-Saf Products, of Atascadero, CA.
In addition, Kenneth Anselm, CEO of Western Cutterheads Inc. and Mattison Rotary Lathes, LLC, of La Center, KY, was elected to serve a one-year term on the WMMA board.
