WEST DES MOINES, IA -- Windsor Windows and Doors, a central Iowa manufacturer of windows and doors, has opened a new 100,000-square-foot factory in West Des Moines, adding 125 jobs, according to The Des Moines Register.
Windsor, a division of Fruitland, ID-based Woodgrain Millwork Inc., was founded in 1946 as a small wood manufacturing company. It has doubled its business in the last five years and now distributes products in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The company currently has 700 employees at its divisional headquarters in West Des Moines and its additional manufacturing facility in Monroe, NC.
