WILLIAMS LAKE, BC - Daryle Halfnights, owner of Windsor Plywood, recently accepted the Community Booster Award during the 15th Annual Business Excellence Awards.
According to the Williams Lake Tribune, Halfnights and Windsor Plywood were recognized for their many contributions to the community including sponsoring two youth soccer teams, a women’s soccer team, contributions to the Blue Fins Swim Club, the golf club, men’s soccer club and more. The company also recently raised $500 for relief in Haiti.
Halfnights has served on the men’s soccer executive for 10 years and is also very active in the Williams Lake Construction Assn.
“It was very humbling and nice to receive the recognition,” Halfnights said.
