Weyerhaeuser Suspends Shift
FEDERAL WAY, WA – Weyerhaeuser Co. announced it will suspend the second shift at its Dallas lumber site, which will eliminate 67 jobs, according to OregonLive.com.

The layoffs began Monday, Feb. 23, the company said in a filing to Oregon’s Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development. Affected employees will continue to receive pay and benefits through at least April 24.

Earlier this month, Weyerhaeuser reported a record fourth-quarter loss of $1.21 billion, its biggest loss in more than 100 years of business.
