SAN FRANCISCO — The West Coast Green Conference and Expo announced Sept. 26 facts and figures for its 2007 event, held Sept. 20-22 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in downtown San Francisco, according to E-Wire. A record-breaking 10,762 people registered for the event, making it the largest residential green building conference in history. Registration records showed attendees from 47 U.S. states, as well as Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, England, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Luxemburg, Mexico, New Zealand, Scotland, Switzerland, Taiwan and Spain.

“It’s far bigger and more hands-on than any green building conference I've yet seen,” said Jeremy Faludi of WorldChanging. “It’s a sign that green building is going mainstream.”
