German machinery firm Weinig AC has opted to extend Karl Wachter’s appointment as CFO of the company, and of Weinig International AG, until the end of the year.
Under the extension, the company is looking to make the handover to the new CFO, Gerald Schmidt, on Oct. 1 as seamless as possible. The firm’s shareholders also are proposing electing Wachter to the boards of directors.
