DES PLAINES, IL -- The Window and Door Manufacturers Assn. (WDMA), a trade association for the window, door and skylight industries, announced the release of the 2006 U.S. Industry Statistical Review and Forecast on May 25. The report is co-published by the WDMA and the American Architectural Manufacturers Assn. (AAMA) with research conducted by Ducker Worldwide. The report, which details window, skylight, patio door and entrance and interior door shipments by market segment and material type, is updated annually and includes projections through 2010.

Ducker Worldwide gathers data from leading window and door manufacturers, suppliers, architects, homebuilders, construction organizations and the U.S. Census Bureau to develop an analysis of market volumes and trends.  Information includes residential and non-residential construction activity, residential and non-residential product statistics, and residential improvement activity.
