HOLSTEIN, IA – VT Industries Inc.’s Fine Laminate Countertops have received Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) certification from the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Assn.. The ESP measures green business strategies using a point system in four categories: air quality, resource management, environmental stewardship and community relations.

VT Industries received multiple points in all categories, and it achieved the most credit for use of low-emitting, recycled substrate materials in all of its countertop products, the company said. As part of the certification, the company is now authorized to display the ESP seal on all of its countertop products.
