HIGH WYCOMBE, ENGLAND – British office furniture manufacturer VERCO Office Furniture has been awarded certification to the international environmental standard BS EN ISO 14001:2004, according to PR-inside.com. The standard specifies the requirements for and environmental management system providing a framework for the company to control the impact of its activities, products and services, as well as to continually improve its environmental performance.

“We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our output,” said Chris Riley, VERCO’s sales and marketing director. “We implemented systems to identify all relevant environmental legislation to ensure that we meet requirements and have identified both short- and long-term objectives.”
