NEWPORT, NC — Veneer Technologies Inc. of Newport, NC, provided more than $20,000 in sheet veneer materials to more than 100 WoodLINKS USA programs across the U.S. Veneer Tech’s donation included 880 sheets of maple, 109 sheets of cherry, 17 sheets of mahogany and four sheets of wenge, plus all packaging and shipping costs.
“WoodLINKS USA plays such an important role in providing future talent to the U.S. wood products industry,” said Jane Wharton, Veneer Tech sales team leader and WoodLINKS USA project coordinator. “I speak for everybody at Veneer Tech when I say we are so pleased to make this donation.”
