HYDE PARK, IN – Marc Bohlke, executive vice president of M. Bohlke Veneer Corp., died Jan. 10. two days after being buried in an avalanche while snowboarding in British Columbia. He was 39.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Bohlke was buried for 10 minutes before being rescued by other skiers and snowboarders Jan. 8 on Alice Mountain, near Terrace, BC. He died two days later at a hospital in Washington state.

Bohlke is survived by his wife, Anna Cunningham Bohlke; children Nicholas, Isabella, Sebastian, and Francis; and his parents, Manfred and Katrin Bohlke, all of Hyde Park.
