WASHINGTON — The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced the launch of its Education Provider Program (EPP), according to Material Handling Management.
“The Education Provider Program is an extension of the council’s mission and our ongoing efforts to broaden and deepen educational offerings for green building professionals,” said Peter Templeton, senior vice president of education and research for USGBC. “The program will review and promote top-quality, innovative courses that will expand green building knowledge and capacity across all sectors of the industry.”
USGBC education providers are council members, chapters and affiliates who demonstrate an organization-wide commitment to green building and the development of high-quality educational courses. Courses approved by the EPP are currently listed on the USGBC Web site and will soon be incorporated into the newly launched Greenbuild365 Web site, the council’s online portal for green building education.
