– Universal Forest Products, Inc., named Matthew J. Missad its CEO, succeeding Michael Glenn, who resigned in June.

Missad, a former VP and general counsel, has been spent 26 years at Universal, beginning as a high school student working part time on its maintenance crew, continusing through law school,before joining the company full time in 1985 as manager of legal compliance.

Missad is the fifth CEO in the Universal Forest Products' 56 years. 

Universal Forest Products, Inc. is a holding company that provides capital, management and administrative resources to subsidiaries that design, manufacture and market wood and wood-alternative products for DIY/retail home centers and other retailers, structural lumber products for the manufactured housing industry, engineered wood components for residential and commercial construction, and specialty wood packaging.
