Uniboard's new Moncure MDF mill CARB Phase 1 certified
LAVAL, QUE - Uniboard, a North American manufacturer of engineered wood products, announced that its new Moncure, NC, MDF facility has been certified to meet CARB Phase 1 emission standards.

The Composite Panel Assn. certified the plant, which is now in start-up process, after determining that it had completed and fulfilled the requirements of CPA 3-08 specification for Environmentally Preferable Products California (CARB) Airborne Toxic Control Measure 93120.

"The certification of our new Moncure MDF mill brings it in line with the rest of our facilities and is an important step in the pre-production start-up process," says Lise Plante, product manager of Uniboard. "We are committed to our customers and are pleased to be able to provide them with a wide range of CARB Phase 1 certified medium and high-density fiberboard products from the largest manufacturing production line of its type in North America."

Uniboard all of its products are compliant with CARB Phase 1.
