Uniboard's Moncure MDF plant is CARB Phase 2 certified
LAVAL, QC — Uniboard, a manufacturer of engineered wood products, announced that its Moncure, NC, MDF manufacturing facility has been certified by the Composite Panel Association (CPA) to meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) Phase 2 emissions standards for the production of MDF panels.

"With the certification of our Moncure MDF mill, all of Uniboard's North American operations are now in compliance with CARB Phase 2 standards," said Lise Plante, product manager, Uniboard. "This certification gives us the competitive advantage in the industry and communicates to our customers that Uniboard is constantly innovating production processes to meet their needs while setting the standard in sustainability and design."
