MANCHESTER, UK – A judge dismissed the case against executives of one of England’s largest kitchen cabinet manufacturing companies, accused of advertising products made with MDF and particleboard as solid wood.

The judge ruled that the trading standards case against Vance Miller and three co-defenders, was “flawed” and based on a “misconceived” investigation, according to 24Dash.com.

The prosecution had alleged that consumers were duped into thinking they were buying high -uality products than were installed. The judge noted, however, that relatively few customers complained.

Furthermore, an expert witness called on to testify by the prosecution, concluded that the advertised kitchen descriptions were "reasonable."
