Two WOOD 100 Firms Form Joint Venture

VALLEY CITY, UT– A pair of Salt Lake City, UT-based companies that have each been featured in recent Wood & Wood Products WOOD 100 Reports are joining forces.

The new venture, CCAM Enterprises LLC, combines Classic Cabinets and Advantage Mill & Cabinet. CCAM plans to move into a new 296,000-square-foot facility by the end of this year that will provide 69% more space than the five buildings the two partner companies currently occupy.

While the two companies have come together in an effort to share resources and expertise to better compete in their respective markets, they will maintain their individual identities

Classic Cabinets placed No. 68 in the 2007 WOOD 100 Report as sales grew nearly 22% from $27.73 million to $33.76 million between 2005 and 2006. The company was founded in 1995 and employs 240 people. It designs, manufactures and installs cabinets for home builders across the western United States.

Advantage Mill ranked No. 99 in the 2006 WOOD 100 Report and posted sales of nearly $7 million in 2005. The company will continue to market cabinet doors, component parts and millwork to other woodworking companies and lumber suppliers.
