CITY OF COMMERCE, CA — The Association of Woodworking and Furnishing Suppliers Vegas Fair has been named a 2008 Tradeshow Week Fastest 50. AWFS will be honored in the November issue, along with the other fastest-growing trade, association and consumer shows.

“Our winners are run by smart, dedicated professionals from diverse industries,”says  Tradeshow Week Editor-in-Chief Michael Hart. “We are proud to salute the people and organizations whose innovations and hard work are improving the growth and vitality of our industry.”

Selection was based on shows that have posted significant growth between 2005 and 2007 in both percentage and total net square footage at the show.

Founded in 1911, AWFS is the largest trade association serving the entire home and commercial furnishings industry.  AWFS has an international membership that includes manufacturers and distributors of machinery, hardware, lumber, upholstery, materials, bedding and other supplies to furniture, cabinet manufacturers and custom woodworkers.
