HIGH POINT, NC -- According to the Winston-Salem Journal, the International Home Furnishings Market has changed it name to the High Point Market to emphasize the host town, rather than its international exhibitor base.

Brian Casey, president of the trade show's authority, said the name change reflects the reality that most industry executives refer to the show as High Point, instead of the international name. A new logo was also unveiled, which is a multi-branched tree whose leaves will change colors with the spring and fall markets.
