Total Door CEO to present keynote speech at UV-EB event
BETHESDA, MD - Patricia Yulkowski, CEO of Total Door, Waterford, MI, will present the keynote speech at RadTech 2010, May 24-26 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD.

Total Door is a unique door system manufacturer, offering complete solutions for industrial, government, commercial and institutional applications, including healthcare and educational facilities. Yulkowski will share her thoughts on the success of Total Door in the current challenging economic climate and the role UV technology has played in that success.

"Total Door's decision to move from solvent-based coating to UV coating technology was a significant step in our goal to implement sustainable technology into every part of our manufacturing process," Yulkowski said. Aside from the more obvious improvements that UV coating provides, including reduced VOCs and HAPs and a generally cleaner and safer working environment, Total Door's manufacturing process has also seen advancement in the following key areas: faster production speed, reduced work in process, reduced manufacturing foot print, reduced energy costs and reduced quality costs."

RadTech is offering free educational programming to users and potential end users of the technology, with special presentations on: How to reduce your Thermal, Physical and CO2 footprint in your manufacturing process; metal finishing applications; touch up; system maintenance and the economics of implementation.

Manufacturers with finishing operations and other potential end users of UV&EB are invited at no charge to attend this full-day event as part of the RadTech "UV/EB Stimulus Package." Registration is required. In addition, the event includes more than 100 conference presentations and approximately 100 technology exhibitors.
