SPRINGFIELD, OR — Timber Products Co., a supplier of diversified wood products and hardwood plywood, on April 30 announced that it has introduced new pre-finished hardwood plywood panels for woodworking manufacturers. The company says its RhinoCoat pre-finished hardwood plywood reduces production times and increases productivity by offering a finished panel that can be used in a wide variety of low-wear applications. 

The pre-finished panels comply with the company’s stringent environmental requirements. The production process includes innovative ultraviolet curing technologies, which do not emit volatile organic compounds or formaldehyde. All RhinoCoat prefinished panels meet AWI, KCMA and miscellaneous ANSI standards.

“All of our hardwood plywood is manufactured with sustainable materials, so the pre-finished component had to rise to the same level of certification,” said Roger Rutan, vice president of Timber Products. “Woodworkers can be assured that our pre-finished panels can help them comply with any green building standards they need to meet.”
