CORINTH, MS – Timber Products Co. recently laid off 23 workers at its Corinth, MS, manufacturing facility due to a continuing drop in product orders because of the economic downturn, according to company officials.

Plant Manager Levon Newsom says that 36 employees are still working at the plant, down from 83 last year.
