LEESBURG, VA  -- Shipments of thermally fused melamine (TFM) panels for April 2011 remained the same compared to the same period in 2010 at 116 MMSF, according to the Composite Panel Association.

April 2011 shipments were down 5.7% compared to March 2011 were 116 MMSF, the CPA noted.

U.S. capacity utilization rates improved 3.1% from the same month a year ago while Canadian utilization rates were down 5.2% from April 2010.
