The HON Co. Announces Key Organizational Changes in Sales and Marketing Divisions
MUSCATINE, IA — The HON Co.,announced two sales and marketing position changes:  Ric Andersen has accepted the position of vice president, sales; and Shelley deSilva has accepted the position of vice president, marketing.  

“We are pleased to announce the addition of Ric to our executive team and to welcome Shelley in her new role, which will help us enhance our performance, reinforce the HON brand and to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations,” said Jerry Dittmer, president of HON.. 

Andersen joined HNI Corp., parent company of HON, in 2004 and he previously served as vice president, sales at The Gunlocke Co.  Prior to this position, he was vice president and general manager of the performance sports group at True Temper Sports; senior vice president of global retail sales at Altec Lansing; and vice president and general manager at Delta Faucet.  Andersen holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a certificate in international business from the University of Iowa.

Prior to this position, deSiva served as vice president, field sales where she was responsible for shaping the strategies for the independent dealer channel, field sales organization and sales development and training departments.  deSilva joined The HON Co. in 1992 and has held a number of positions, including west central region sales director, sales operations manager and national account manager.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from The University of Iowa.  deSilva also participated in the Women’s Leadership Forum at The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
