TORONTO – Furniture manufacturer Teknion Corp. announced that Stephen M. Miner will retire as a director of the company, effective Aug. 15. This is in accordance with the arrangements established at the time of his retirement as president of Teknion LLC (the company’s U.S. business operation) in Nov. 2004. Miner joined the board of directors upon the company’s initial public offering in 1998. He led Teknion’s U.S. business for 17 years, and served as chairman of Teknion LLC from Dec. 1, 2004, until Nov. 30, 2006.
