'Street Smart Entrepreneur" Author Headlines 2007 Closets Conference

LINCOLNSHIRE, IL -- Jay Goltz, author of Lessons of a Street Smart Entrepreneur, will deliver the opening keynote speech at the Third Annual CLOSETS & HOME ORGANIZATION CONFERENCE & EXPO™ scheduled for March 21-23, 2007 in Schaumburg.

 

Goltz has received numerous accolades, not only for his book, but also for the success of his own business, Artists' Frame Service, in Chicago. The business grew from $70,000 sales in 1978 to more than $13 million in 2005. Goltz was featured as part of Inc. magazine's cover story: "Small is the New Big," in February 2006. Inc. also has listed Lessons of a Street Smart Entrepreneur as one of its Top Twelve books written by CEOs.

 

The three-day conference is co-sponsored by the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals. It will include 15 75-minute seminars delivered by a mix of closet industry experts and business professionals. Among the topics are strategic planning, recruiting and retaining top talent, managing a factory relocation and marketing for growth.

 

The Closets Conference & Expo will be held at the new Schaumburg Convention Center. The expo will be held on March 22-23 and include closet system manufacturing and installation demonstrations.
