- Stofanak Custom Cabinetry plans to double its manufacturing plant to a total 40,000 square feet.

The custom cabinet shop applied for a zoning variance to rezone a lot adjacent to its current plant and allow it to add larger equipment, such as a 50-foot-long wood moulder, reports a local news website, Patch.com.

“Competition is fierce,” Stofanak told the website reporter. “We need to update our processes to compete in the world today.”

Founded in 1951,  the family-owned operation craft custom cabinets and millwork for residential kitchens, vanities, and institutional and commercial work. The expansion would increase Stofanak Custom Cabinetry employment from its current 38 to 50, its peak historic level, reports the local news site.
