GRAND RAPIDS, MI â Stiles Machinery Inc. announced that it has hired Reid Giving as an industrial sales engineer to cover the state of Oregon.
Giving has been involved in the woodworking industry since 1973 when he began manufacturing and designing furniture. His experience includes a lumberyard, the U.S. Forest Service and logging in positions such as a journeyman shipwright and plant manager for audio cabinets and contract furniture, along with 14 years of experience in capital equipment. Most recently he developed a cabinet shop for a garage organization in the Seattle area.
Giving is responsible for industrial sales in the state of Oregon, and conducts business through the companyâs Ontario, California regional office. The state of Oregon was previously covered by David Bakk, who retired from Stiles in December 2007 after 25 years of service to the company.
