Stephens succeeds Cook as Broyhill president

ST. LOUIS -- Broyhill Furniture, a division of Furniture Brands International, appointed Mark Stephens to succedd Jeffrey Cook, who resigned from Broyhill to become president of A.R.T. Furniture.

Stephens has served as Broyhill's vice president of sales and marketing since 2007.

"Mark is the perfect choice to lead Broyhill today," said Furniture Brands Chairman and CEO Ralph Scozzafava. "Mark and Jeff worked closely to re-energize the Broyhill brand with our dealers and with consumers. Mark also reorganized Broyhill's sales team into a more focused and effective organization. He has the experience and respect of his peers to lead Broyhill to the next stage of its storied history.

"We also appreciate Jeff's role in helping drive the transformation of Broyhill. For nearly four years, he brought energy and passion to his role and has been a valued member of our executive team," Mr. Scozzafava said. 

A.R.T. Furniture, based in Ontario, CA, imports and manufactures wood casegoods.
